Since 1967, Ty Construction Company, Inc. has established itself as a leader in the commercial refrigeration and HVAC business by focusing on our guiding principle: workmanship. Our strong relationships throughout the industry have provided us with a robust workforce of skilled technicians who deliver the highest quality workmanship and system installations in the region. We take pride in our work and want to leave every customer feeling satisfied. There’s a reason why we’ve been in business for almost 60 years – we take care of our customers and the members of our team.
Ty Construction Company, Inc. began as a family owned and operated company in 1967. We started as one small business focusing on carpentry in supermarket settings in central Pennsylvania with a small, but dedicated, team. We were carpenters back then because the refrigerated cases were made primarily out of wood!
Today, Ty is still family owned and operated, and up to our 3rd generation of ownership. We’ve expanded from operating in the central Pennsylvania area to supporting our clients refrigeration needs across Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Connecticut.
We have additionally expanded into other areas of the industry, still with a focus towards supermarket refrigeration, but also to support convenience stores, restaurants, schools and pharmaceutical environments. Our growing list of offerings includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

– Refrigerated case and walk in box installations
– Dry good shelving (Lozier, Storeflex, etc)
– 24/7 reactive service and maintenance,
– Energy management and building automation (EMS/BAS)
– HVAC and Exhaust Hood installation
– Refrigerated cases and walk in boxes sales – both new and used.
– Refrigerant recovery and refrigerant retrofits/conversions
